How the Bus Tracking Works - and What It Doesn't Do

Tracking uses the free third-party Traccar Client app installed on the driver's phone, which sends the GPS position to IntelCampus; each vehicle gets its own secure tracking token. It needs the driver's phone to be on, with location and mobile data enabled. IntelCampus shows live and last-known locations, but does not currently send automatic "bus started", "near your stop" or ETA alerts, and does not record boarding attendance on the bus.

No. IntelCampus uses the GPS in the driver's smartphone through the free Traccar Client app, so there is no tracking hardware to purchase or install in the vehicle.

Yes. Students and parents assigned to a route can open the live transport screen from their login to see the bus's latest location. They only see the bus for the route their child is assigned to.

Not at the moment. Parents can check the live location themselves, but automatic arrival, departure and ETA notifications are not part of the current feature set.

Each route and stop can carry a monthly fee, and a student's assignment resolves to that fee. It is billed as a transport category alongside their other school fees, with the same receipts and payment options.

Yes. Drivers sign in through the same login page and get a simple screen showing their tracking setup and the stop-wise list of students on their route.
